Description
Developed by TQC Sheen, our paint testing specialist brand, these powerful color assessment cabinets enable you to carefully examine everything from inks and paints through to plastics, cosmetics, textiles, knitwear, food, paper, colorants and more.
You can use our multi-source viewing systems as illuminating paint inspection lights. Select from a range of light sources that assess everything from gloss and metamerism through to structure and damages.

Professional color assessment
Our color assessment cabinets are easy on the eye. Both the interior and the exterior are finished to the highest quality and color assessment standards.
TQC color assessment cabinets are equipped with a 110V / 220V switch and they’re very well build and stable. Our microprocessor controlled color assessment cabinets allow you to switch between different paint inspection light sources instantly. Simplifying the switching between paint inspection light sources without any flickering.
Accurate color assessment
When it’s time to change the lamps our color assessment cabinet will let you know. It correctly records the usage time of each lamp group. For example, you’ll need to change the D65 paint inspection lamp after 2000 hours, to ensure the most accurate results.
UV paint inspection light
Our color assessment cabinet comes with a UV paint inspection light source to examine samples containing fluorescent optical brighteners or whitening dyes.
Two daylight paint inspection light sources
TQC color assessment cabinets feature D65 and D5000 daylight paint inspection light sources that conform to international testing standards including ISO 3668.
Indoor color assessment
For simulating indoor conditions our color assessment cabinets also offer incandescent light sources as well as “shop light” TL84.

How to use a TQC color assessment cabinet
It’s really easy to use our industry-leading color assessment cabinets. Just plug in, switch on and press the D65 lamp button to light it up. You can use more than one paint inspection light source at the same time – just select the appropriate buttons.
Next up, place your samples at the center of the color assessment cabinet. If you’re using the paint inspection light(s) to check two or more samples at once then it’s best to place each in parallel and avoid overlapping them before observing.
When you’re finished, simply switch off the colorbox using the one/off key.
Our color assessment cabinet timers show you the total service time of the cabinet. While the total operating time of each individual light source (F, TL84 or UV) is displayed and recorded.
